Centurion Advisory Group

We apply the qualities of the Centurion to your money management

The Centurion Way
The overarching client service philosophy at Centurion is based on the rigor and skill embodied by the centurions of Ancient Rome.  The centurion's primary responsibilities were, under the direction of his commander, to guard and expand the borders of the Roman Empire.

At Centurion Advisory Group, we believe our responsibilities are similar to that of the Roman centurion.  First, we work to protect what you have - your assets and income - and to help you avoid poor financial decisions.  Second, we help you find a clear understanding of the direction you want to go, and we work to expand both your income and your assets.

The Centurions of Rome
The Centurions of Rome lived by a code expressed as "Strength and Honor".  Centurions were promoted from the ranks of the legionnaires based on at least sixteen years of combat service and valor at the point of a spear.  The Centurion was able to carry ninety pounds of equipment at least twenty miles a day, and trained under the harshest of conditions.  The Centurion was required to equip himself at his own expense and pay for his own food, clothing, bedding, boots, arms, and armor, as well as dues to the burial club.  He was a skilled engineer and builder, in addition to being the finest combat soldier, and held ultimate sway over the welfare of every man who served in his hundred-man century.

Discipline and rigor were held to the highest standards.  Punishment in the legions was swift and severe and within the discretion of the Commander of the Legion.  Death was the penalty for fleeing during battle, or feigning illness to avoid battle.

To rise to Centurion was considered the highest honor a legionnaire could attain.  The fearless soldier who obtained such an honorable position led by example, commanding his soldiers from the front.

The Centurion is a metaphor for those who will choose to lead with strength and honor.  "Strength" incorporates the best qualities of decision making, technical competence, business and spiritual wisdom, vision, and an unrelenting commitment to excellence.  "Honor" encompasses the virtues of integrity and honesty, self-denial, loyalty, and a servant's humility to those in authority above, as well as a just and merciful heart to those below.

We at Centurion Advisory Group believe these honorable qualities and unwavering commitment to such ideals are all too rare in the field of financial advising.  We uphold the same level of rigor as the Roman Centurions in leading our clients on to financial security.
